Designed specifically for fabrics, leather and flexible materials.
Anyone who has worked on a yacht knows the problem: cockpit cushions shift in the wind, upholstered headboards need removing for cleaning or repairs behind them, and fabric acoustic panels sag over time when fixed with Velcro. The Fastmount Textile range solves all of this with a mechanical clip system that our Palma de Mallorca team has been installing for over 20 years.
The TC-F6H clip is sewn directly into the cushion cover or the reverse of the upholstered panel, and it snaps onto the TC-SM6S male fixed to the structure. The result is firm, invisible retention that lets you remove the cushion or panel in one second with no tools. We work with marine upholsterers across Spain to integrate the clips during cover manufacture.
If you are a marine upholsterer or soft-furnishing workshop, we supply you with TC-F6H clips to integrate during the sewing of your covers. We advise on exact positioning and recommended thread. If you prefer a full service, we coordinate with the upholsterer, supply the clips and carry out the final male-clip installation on board.
No. The clip has four sewing holes designed for marine upholstery thread. It is sewn to the reverse of the cover, so it remains completely invisible from the outside. It works with any fabric type: marine vinyl, leather, linen, cotton and technical textiles.
Textile clips are made from POM (polyoxymethylene), an engineering plastic that does not corrode, does not absorb water and does not degrade from sun exposure or salt. They are fully suitable for use on exposed deck areas.
Yes — that is our standard way of working. We supply the clips to the upholsterer with positioning and sewing instructions, then install the males on board the vessel. We work with upholsterers in Mallorca, Barcelona and along the Spanish coast.
