The SLX range is the Fastmount system that has grown the fastest in our projects over recent years. At Riviera Trade we use it whenever an architect or interior designer asks for a solution for panels on plasterboard partitions, office walls or heavy cladding requiring up to 25 kg capacity per clip. It is the natural evolution of the Standard system, but conceived for the contract sector and interior architecture.
Our Palma de Mallorca team has installed SLX on projects as diverse as offices in Palma, boutique hotel lobbies in Mallorca and saloons of yachts over 40 metres. The SLX-F40R clip, designed specifically for plasterboard with expansion plugs, has greatly simplified dry-wall projects where you previously had to locate the metal studs for screw fixing.

Choosing the right one depends on the panel weight, the wall type and whether a fire-rated version is needed. Does SLX work on plasterboard without reinforcement?
Yes — the SLX-F40R clip fixes directly to the plasterboard with the included expansion plugs. You do not need to locate the metal studs behind. This makes installation much faster and more flexible. For heavy loads (over 15 kg per clip), we do recommend fixing to the stud or adding reinforcement.
What is the difference between SLX-M5, M10, M18 and M25?
The number indicates the extraction capacity in kilograms per clip. An 8 kg panel with 4 SLX-M5 clips has 20 kg of total retention — more than enough. For heavy panels (stone, solid timber) we use M18 or M25. We help you calculate the optimal configuration for your case.
Do you stock SLX in fire-rated versions?
We keep permanent stock of the most popular SLX models, including FR versions. Less common models have a lead time of 1-2 weeks. Ask us about availability for your project and we will confirm exact timescales.
