Robust concealed fastening for metal panels and high-demand applications.
The Metal range is Fastmount's answer for applications where engineering plastic falls short: yacht galleys with elevated temperatures, engine rooms, areas near exhausts and any environment requiring fire resistance and extreme temperature performance. At Riviera Trade we specify it for the most technically demanding projects that pass through our Palma de Mallorca workshop.
The MC-SSM10B and MC-SSF10B clips in 316 stainless steel are our recommendation for ceiling installations on vessels, as they maintain their retention even under constant vibration and salt-air exposure. We have been solving this type of challenge for over 20 years, in situations where other systems simply do not last.
Choosing between nickel-plated and 316 stainless steel, between wall and ceiling mounting, and combining with PanelSafe systems requires technical knowledge of the installation environment. Our team guides you to the correct specification so there are no surprises during the build. We supply shipyards, architecture studios and installation companies across the Iberian Peninsula.
Nickel-plated clips (MC-NPF10, MC-NPM10) are more economical and suited to dry interiors. 316 stainless steel clips (MC-SSF10, MC-SSM10) resist marine corrosion, higher temperatures and are mandatory where non-combustible materials are required. For yachts, we always recommend 316 stainless.
Yes — the B-suffix models (MC-SSM10B, MC-SSF10B) are specifically designed for ceilings. They incorporate a positive retention mechanism that prevents the panel falling under gravity. This is the model we use in galleys and engine rooms on vessels.
You need the MC-SSCP centre point to align male and female during installation, and the MC-IT5 tool for fitting. We keep them in stock and include them when we supply Metal clips for a complete project.
