If we had to choose a single Fastmount system for the marine sector, it would be the Low Profile. With just 8 mm of profile and up to 15 kg load capacity per clip, it is the one our Palma de Mallorca team fits most frequently in cabins, passageways and ceilings of yachts from 20 to 60 metres. It withstands vibration, temperature changes and the salt air without degrading.

The CNC-routed LP-F8 combined with the screw-fixed LP-M8A is our most common configuration — it delivers firm retention with a flawless finish and lets you remove panels in seconds to reach the services behind.

Low Profile range FAQ
How many LP clips do I need for a cabin ceiling?
It depends on the panel size and weight. For a typical cabin ceiling (1.2 x 0.8 m, 4-5 kg panel), we use 6 LP-F8 + LP-M8A clips evenly distributed. Our team provides a specific layout drawing for your vessel.
Does the Low Profile range resist sailing vibrations?
Yes — it is precisely the range designed for the marine environment. The LP-F8 mechanical engagement does not loosen with vibration, unlike magnets or Velcro used in cheaper solutions. We have been verifying this in real sea conditions for over 20 years.
Can you install Low Profile on a yacht outside Mallorca?
Yes. Although our base is in Palma de Mallorca, we regularly travel to Barcelona, Valencia, Alicante, the Algarve and other Mediterranean ports. For projects outside our area, we can also supply the material with remote technical support and detailed installation drawings.
