Professional tools to install, adjust and extract all Fastmount systems.
After more than 20 years installing Fastmount, one thing is certain: the right tool makes the difference between a professional installation and a bodge job. The CT-01 and CT-09 carbide bits are the ones we go through fastest in our Palma de Mallorca workshop — we drill marine MDF, okoume plywood and high-density boards day after day, and tungsten carbide is the only material that keeps its edge after hundreds of holes.
Each Fastmount range has its own specific tools: the CP-01ST centre point for Standard, the CP-08ST for Low Profile, the VL-CP3 for Very Low Profile... Using the wrong template means misaligned clips and panels that do not fit. Our technical team tells you exactly which tools you need for the clips you plan to install.
If your workshop is starting with Fastmount, we can run a training session in person or by video call. We explain drilling techniques, VHB adhesive curing times and the tricks we have learned over two decades of working with these systems. We also provide telephone technical support whenever questions arise during installation.
For adhesive clips (PC-SM1AC, LP-SM8AS) you only need the corresponding centre point to align male and female. No drill or router is required. This is the simplest option for installers without workshop machinery.
In marine MDF and plywood, 300 to 500 holes while maintaining a clean cut. In more abrasive materials such as cement boards or fibreglass composites, tool life is shorter. We replace ours every 400 holes as a precaution. We always have them in stock for immediate dispatch.
Yes. Tell us which ranges you will be installing and the approximate clip quantity, and we will prepare a kit with the necessary tools, trial clips and technical documentation. It is the best way to start if this is your first Fastmount project.
